Street Party Canceled

Hi Neighbours,


There is an inadequate number of people who have confirmed their attendance for the street party on Aug 1 or 2. Given the large amount of bureaucracy that the city demands for hosting one of these events and the small numbers, the organizers have decided it is best to cancel the street party.


The main reasons for the low numbers seem to be a combination of the long weekend, vacation plans and other related matters.


We hope to try this again - perhaps once the construction boom has settled somewhat and the street is more conducive to hosting a party. We are most interested & open to suggestions for a future street party.
