There's an alternative to our existing City Councillor - and by all accounts worth looking at seriously. Randall Denley's column in the Citizen on Tuesday 17 Aug was a full-on interview of this new candidate, Lilly Obina.
Her credentials and work experience are solid, and she seems not easily swayed by the ever-changing winds of public opinion. One phrase that seems to recur in her material and interviews is "Do the right thing" - a refreshing idea coming from a politician.
Just a thought - always good to have alternatives.
